We had a great time at the InterPore Brazil Chapter conference this week
It was a pleasure to connect with so many colleagues in the field. 🤝
Our team had the opportunity to present a two-day short course on Geoslicer 💻, our open-source platform for digital rock physics: https://lnkd.in/dZPv29KE Márcio Valério Weck Pereira covered the software’s basic functions, and Rafael Arenhart presented the Pore Network Modeling (PNM) modules. Thanks to everyone who attended the sessions.
Rafael Arenhart also presented more technical details from our published work, “Wettability index simulated behavior on multiscale pore network models applied to complex carbonates,” offering a deeper look into our PNM module. 🔬
We also presented two posters, one entitled as “Smart-segmenter” written by Rômulo Cenci and presented by Robim Pacheco S. and Giovanni Formighieri 📊, and Leandro Passos de Figueiredo presented a poster about Aspect ratio in rock physics models using digital rock images. The work is part of the PHD thesis written by Luiz Eduardo.
A sincere thank you to all the attendees and to the conference committee for a well-organized event. It was a few intense days filled with valuable learning and networking. 🙏
